I have been creating things for fun and profit for the last 50 years, remember love beads? These last few years has found me working with wool in all its glorious forms: raw, cleaned and combed (needle felting), yarn (knit, crochet, felt) and old manufactured wool sweaters and blankets (up-cycled into felt). What I do with this wool is make: hats, gloves, scarves, jewelry, bags, baby lovies, stuffies, slippers, shoes, bowls...
I am a 35 year resident of Marin County, most of that time I have lived in Mill Valley where I currently reside with my husband of 35 years. We raised two wonderful people, Conor and Caitlin here in Mill Valley. My official studio is our cottage among the Redwoods of Blithedale Canyon, but more often you may find me downtown Mill Valley at the Plaza, in Peet's or the Depot coffee shop knitting or needle felting, creating and enjoying the company of other Marinites and the tourists.
